Di(2-Propyl Heptyl) phthalate (DPHP) is a phthalate ester based on isomeric C10 alcohols. Due to its low volatility, DPHP is suitable for higher temperature applications such as wire and cable and automotive interior trim.
DPHP is mainly used to make PVC soft and flexible. It's excellent weathering behavior makes it a good choice for outdoor applications such as roofing membranes and tarpaulins.
